If cycling’s ‘the new football’, bike film festivals are ‘the new fanzines’ – engaging, irreverent and passionate.

Launched in 2006 the Bike Film and Animation Awards invited short film submissions to show case bike culture in all its diversity. View the 2007 award winners and local submission entries, and vote for your own favourites.

Films include Bike Thief by 20 year old Edinburgh film director Louis Paxton.

The 2008 Award is now open for submissions.
